Back To Back Wins With Strong Pitching And Great Offense For Trenton Thunder"

Trenton Thunder are starting to play better baseball again with another strong performance from the pitching and offense. It was a special night at the ballpark yesterday with a crowd of 6,000 plus, recognizing our friend Tony Vlahovic's team on the field before the game, his book signing and fireworks. All the fans enjoyed the festivities as they also got to see another Thunder win. This team has a different swag to them as the players continue to build chemistry.

Jonah Hurney was on the mound yesterday for Trenton Thunder, he looked fantastic during his outing going (W 2-0) 5.1 innings, 6 hits, 3 runs, 2 er, 0 walks and 6 strikeouts. After they took Hurney out, their bullpen did a great job of not giving up anymore runs and keep the team in this game. Hurney is another talented lefty along with Luke Rettig on the roster as they both continue to impress this season.

The offense came thru again with contributions from Dan Covino, Max Giordano, Ramon, Jimenez and Tarik Latchmansingh as they great success with runners in scoring position. Trenton Thunder got a big win again with a score of 4-3, improving to 23-10 on the season, making the fans happy and playing awesome team baseball. They also took advantage of stealing some bases against the opposing pitching.

After the game, I had an opportunity to interview my guy Christian Merriwether who is back with the Trenton Thunder for second half. He had some great things to say, shout-out to our Co Workers Kia Lyons and Mike Zanetti for coming also. Kia had an opportunity to interview Dmitri Young who is the manager for the other team.
