"The New York Giants Make A Big Move By Trading For Las Vegas Raiders Tight End Darren Waller"

The New York Giants were looking to improve the offense after signing quarterback Daniel Jones to a 4 year $160 million dollar contract and putting the franchise tag on Saquon Barkley. They have found their tight end today by trading for Las Vegas Raiders star pro bowler Darren Waller for a third round pick. This third round the Giants used was from the Kadarius Toney trade to Kansas City Chiefs. So basically they traded Toney for Waller which is amazing.

GM Joe Schoen is doing a fantastic job so far building this team finding the right pieces that will help Daniel Jones succeed at a high level with his new contract. Darren Waller will bring experience at the tight end position, plays hard everyday, football IQ off the charts and wants to win. This could potentially be a legacy moment for Waller as the Giants had Jeremy Shockey and Kevin Boss who had great success being the tight ends of this team. One concern with Waller is the injury issues but when healthy, best tight end in NFL in my opinion.

Only to give a third round pick for a great player in Darren Waller doesn't really happen that often which tells you which direction the Raiders are going. A lot of people were shocked about the return they got for Waller and felt like it should have been more. What a fantastic day for the Giants front office, fans, players and coaching staff as they pulled of a big splash for the city of New York. Darren Waller will help this team in a huge way and be a great influence for Daniel Jones.

Darren Waller recently got married to WNBA star player Kelsey Plum who plays for the Las Vegas Aces, so it will be interesting how the living situation turns out. Now with Waller in the fold and making another great signing yesterday by getting linebacker Bobby Okereke from the Colts on a 4 year $40 million dollar contract look for them to improve this roster in many areas.

I would give Giants GM Joe Schoen an A so far with the moves bring back Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard, signing Bobby Okereke and trading for Darren Waller with more to come.
