"Trenton Thunder Get A Bounce Back Win Against Frederick Keys With A 6-0 Shutout"

Earlier today it was kids camp day at Trenton Thunder Ballpark as they hosted Frederick Keys again looking for a bounce back win. Different camps came to the game today with all the kids enjoying themselves. This heat was brutal during the game but they got thru and kept everyone engaged. Kade Lancour was on the hill for Trenton Thunder as he looked great against Frederick.

Kade Lancour who got the win (2-1) went 6.0 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 er, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts being able to locate his pitches when needed. Lancour is a 6'6 with great mound presence that can fool hitters sometimes. Brennan O'Neill came in next going 2.0 innings, 1 hit, 0 run, 0 er, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Then Peterson pitched 1.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 0 walks and 0 strikeouts. They did a fantastic job of holding Frederick Keys to only 2 hits in the game.

The Trenton Thunder's offense bounced back in a big way after being shutout yesterday as they scored 6 runs with a total of 13 hits. Dan Covino, Ramon Jimenez and Roberto Lopez all contributed for the six runs and did a great job with runners in scoring position. Frederick Keys pitching had trouble putting away hitters by giving up 13 hits and the Thunder took advantage of that. Their defense was also on display with Joe Impeduglia making a couple nice plays near first base.

With the 6-0 win over Frederick, they improve to 9-6 in second half and 28-13 overall on season. This was a huge win for them getting the momentum back as they now head back on road to face Frederick again.

After the game I had an opportunity to interview Joe Impeduglia & Jack Lynch as they talked today's win, being with Trenton Thunder, defense, some things that people don't know about them and other interesting things.

Big shout-out goes to Mike Warren who makes everything happen with the interviews and a great play by play announcer.
