"Trenton Thunder Get The Opening Night Win Against Frederick Keys 7-1"

Trenton Thunder started off their MLB Draft League season strong yesterday with a 7-1 opening night win against the Frederick Keys with great pitching and offense. It was a fantastic turnout by the fans on fireworks night with 7,548 in attendance to show support for this team. They were pumped up ready to go after an amazing pregame introduction. Chase Jeter who is a left hander was on the mound for the Thunder.

Chase Jeter pitched good going 3.0 innings, 3 hits, 1 run, 0 er, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts as he was able to get big outs and locate his pitches. Then Pron who got the win (1-0) went 2.0 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 er, 0 walks and 3 strikeouts. Next it was Udell 2.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. After it was Gallo 1.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 0 walks and 2 strikeouts. Last it was Brenton Fisher who closed out the game for Trenton Thunder 1.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. They combined for 4 hits and 11 strikeouts with an dominant performance.

Trenton Thunder's offense looked great yesterday taking walks, runners in scoring, stealing bases and well balanced. Alden Mathes, Anthony Calarco, Pagliarini, Evan Sleight, Engelhard and Ryland Zaboroswki all made big contributions to score key runs in this game. This lineup has power, speed, length and the potential to beat teams in different ways.

After the game, i interviewed Trenton Thunder's manager Jeff Manto talking about the 7-1 opening night win yesterday, his lineup, Alden Mathis, Chase Jeter, the fans and excitement from all players before the game. Shout-out to Mike Warren for setting this up and congrats to Mike on calling his first game yesterday.
